19in;" align="JUSTIFY">Fexofenadine combines an antihistamine with a respiratory tract alleviant. It us used to ease the symptoms of allergies. It contains a lot of pseudoepinephrine, and it is not recommended for children under 12 years.



Fexofenadine is to be taken (with water, not juice) either 1-2 hours before or after eating. During the treatment a low-fat diet is recommended, as fat can reduce effectiveness of the treatment. Also, the tablet must be taken whole. Prescribed dosage should be respected. Taking fexofenadine can influence allergy test results.

Adverse reactions may include digestive problems (nausea, stomach pain), headaches, restlessness, a feeling of dry mouth. Notify the doctor if any side effects occur; the most significant are: shivering, unusual heartbeat rythm, or allergic reactions.



Before beginning treatment, inform the doctor or pharmacist about possible allergies. Fexofenadine should be avoided especially if you suffer from one (or more) of the following health problems: glaucoma, urinary problems,blood pressure problems, heart-related problems, or if similar treatments have had side effects in the past. This medicine should be carefully administred during prenancy and not at all during breast-feeding.



Always stick to the prescription indicated dosage the doctor gave you. It interacts with MAO inhibitors (Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are a class of antidepressant drugs prescribed for the treatment of depression). Inform the doctor or the pharmacist of any other treatments or medications you are following at the moment, including cold medicine.



Restlessness, unusual heartbeat,seizures can be the sign of an overdose. In this case, contact a doctor or poison control immediately.

Do not give others prescription medications. If you skip a dose, do not double it to recover, just follow the prescription.

Store at room temperature, away from heat, light, humidity and away from children and pets. Dispose of the medicine properly, as advised, do not discard them randomly into the environment.
