Consumption of caffeine

Caffeine is a natural ingredient, one of the oldest energizers ever used. It is also considered a psychoactive substance. In pure state, caffeine tastes very bitter and it appears like a white powder.
The name of this substance comes from German and French. Restrained use of caffeine (130-300mg a day) is considered not harmful by the medical world. Even so, excess consumption can lead to side effects.

People who are vulnerable to stimulants should abstain from caffeine. Moreover, caffeine affects growth and development of the fetus in the uterus and therefore pregnant women should not consume these beverages.

Even though caffeine does not lead to the appearance of cardiovascular diseases, the possibility exists that this substance will temporarily increase heart rate and blood pressure. Therefore, people who already suffer from cardiovascular problems or hypertension should avoid products with caffeine content.

To benefit fully from the advantages offered by caffeine, it is recommended to drink a cup of coffee or two cups of black tea daily. People who drink four to six cups of coffee a day are prone to health problems.

Caffeine is a powerful stimulus for the central nervous system. It makes the adrenal glands to release adrenaline. If the incentives are used in excess, adrenal glands become fatigued. Adrenal glands fail to respond, which means that you have a lower endurance to pressure and thus more vulnerable to pathogens and environmental pollutants.

The pancreas reacts to the unexpected increase in blood sugar levels by creating insulin, which makes surplus of carbohydrates to be deposited as fat. In about 1-2 hours, the consequence is a dramatic drop in blood sugar levels, causing a phase of hypoglycemia. This process usually ends with the need for a new cup of coffee, if drunk, the entire state starts from the beginning.

Over 208 acids contained in coffee may lead to upset stomach and a large range of issues from hyper-acidity affiliated with arthritic inflammation, rheumatism. Many people complain of burning feeling in the stomach after consuming coffee because coffee rises the production of acid in the stomach.

Women should be concerned when signs of osteoporosis at menopause. Studies show that those who consume caffeine present a bigger risk to develop osteoporosis than those who do not consume it. Neither man are safe from osteoporosis.

So these are a range of symptoms because of which doctors recommend patients to exclude coffee and any product with caffeine from their diet.
